Research On The Government Illegal Actions In Environmental Group Events

In recent years, environmental group events is increasing as a speed of29%peryear, however, It has been a main factor which cause social contradictions, economicdeclined, political stability. As more and more people pay attention on environment,environmental group events should not be ignored by the government. Environmentalgroup events could be causes by: enterprises, governments pursue economic profits atthe cost of destroying the environment; no methods to protect human environmentalrights; no measures to push government information disclosure. All this negativefactors could be concluded as government illegal actions. If government could makesure that all the actions meet the justice procedures and the law requires, and publicthe information at the first time which may influence peoples’ life, and lots ofenvironmental group events could be prevented.In this article,10representative environmental group events cases will be used toillustrate the main problems for government to meet in China. Then we would discussthe government actions in project chronologically, the choice of project location,project process, operation of the project. Through analyzing the procedure of theproject in the cases, the author tries to seek legal measures to prevent the negativeresults. In the last part of this article, the author offers some proposals for thegovernment about how to deal with the mood of citizens and public opinion to avoidthe same event happen again.
