The Discussion Of Neo-nationalism Of He Xin

Neo-nationalism is one of the most important political thought in contemporary Chinese society. As a major representative figure of Neo-nationalism, then, based on an integral consciousness about the community identity. He Xin has makes a discussion of a series of emerging problems in political, economic, cultural spheres and proposed a series of specific reform ideas, proposals, measures and methods, selling an idea of patriotism and nationalism to the public and giving a new reading on Neo-nationalism. This paper will begin with the formation and evolution of Neo-nationalism and analyse its rationale. In the end, the author summarizes its rationality and weaknesses.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the formation and evolution of Neo-nationalism. It mainly introduces the origin of Neo-nationalism and the development phase of Neo-nationalism. What's more, the latter part mainly introduces the history of development about He Xin's thought.The second part is the basic idea of Neo-nationalism. This section firstly then analyzes the theoretical basis of Neo-nationalism, then explains the concept of Neo-nationalism.The third part is the argument between He Xin and the faction of democratic movement. This section is mainly to make comparisons on the idea of He Xin between point of view coming from the faction of democratic movement. By this comparison, we can see the unique features of Neo-nationalism.
