On the one hand, through the study of the sample conditions and the types, we probe the enlightenment to judicial practice; the other hand, more in-depth analyse to the sample's role and significance in forensic science and law of evidence, in order to improve the norm of sample.The full paper contains four parts, and has about 30,000 words in all.The first part is an overview of document identification. The opinion of forever changes demand sample and the examined document should be comparable in generation types and generation time. Form the view of forensic science, samples should be accord with the requirement, which are the former condition of identification, the method of identification demands sample should be accord with truthfulness, adequacy and comparability. The norm of sample is a important part of standardization of forensic science. The principle of evidence requires the behavior of collect samples must be lawful.The third part mainly analyses the varieties of sample and the conditions of collecting sample. It draws the substantive and procedural requirement through the research on theory of document identification and forensic science.The forth part discusses specific norms of sample.
