The Role Of Voluntary Organizations From Perspective Public Governance

Becoming fashionable for one of the forms of non-governmental organizations,voluntary organizations are playing a very important role in the public governance increasingly. However , our Chinese voluntary organizations are still making smooth progresses because of its reality and history. Therefore, the topic of this paper is how we can promote the role of voluntary organization from the perspective of public governance,and make it cooperate with both government and the market ,so as to make contributions to our harmonious society.By qualitative approach,such as literature review,case study and so on,the paper focuses on the following several parts: the first part,discussing the development of some relative theory; the second part,analyzing the development of voluntary organizations in foreign countries then summarizing valuable experience and some questions which worth our attention; the third part,focus on the local voluntary organizations in Shanghai for its actuality; the fourth part,achieving strategic management in public sector through research in the volunteers'organizing of the EXPO 2010 Shanghai China; Meanwhile,by analyzing the barrier and limit of implement process,some constructive and available suggestions on hurdling barrier are given in the paper; finally,the paper concludes the purpose and structure of the paper,and gives a prospect of further study of voluntary organizations from the perspective of public governance.
