The media and the judgment, has always been'cut constantly tangled'relationship. On the one hand, the judgment needs the supervision of the media, making the judiciary more sunlight, transparent, and a more just; On the other hand, the media accused the administration of justice freely before the courts, which can easily lead to mass extreme emotions interfere with the administration of justice, form a'media trial.'In China, with the mass media and Internet and other new media's rapid development, the conflict between the media and judicial decisions has become an increasingly hot topic. Therefore, studying the impact of media on judicial decisions is necessary.The purpose of this research is from an economic point of view of the impact of media on judicial decisions, and to explore the impact of justice in the media transmission mechanism. Theoretical significance of this study is that, from an economic point of view an analysis of the problem is conducive to broaden the research scope and vision, practical significance is conducive to better address the relationship between the media and the judiciary to ensure the healthy development of a democratic society.After review the related concepts and pre-research, the paper studied the transmission mechanism of the media affecting judicial decisions from the economic point of view. Mainly through the main factors of affecting judicial decisions, the utility function of judges and the Bayesian decision theory to analyze the media coverage could affect the judicial decisions .Finally, it is an empirical analysis.
