Design And Impelement Of Monitoring System For Learning Process Of Network Courses

Web-based education as a new mode of education has become flourish with the coming network and information society. As web-based learning has the character of teachers and students separating and it is short of face-to-face effective teaching and management like traditional instruction with requiring a high degree of self-learning ability, web-based learning quality has become a focus problem of web-based education. Web-based course is the main vector for the web-based learning now, and implementing the necessary monitoring and management for learning process of network courses is an important means to improve the quality of web-based learning.The thesis has deeply analyzed the related concept of web-based learning monitor, the current situation of web-based self-regulated learning, the theoretical basis and the current status at home and abroad,and it has designed and implemented a monitoring system for learning process of network courses using related programming language and database under the guidance of the constructivism and humanism.the thesis consists five chapters. The first chapter has summarized the related concept of web-based learning monitor, the purpose and the significance of the study, ideas and methods as well as the current status at home and abroad; the second chapter has elaborated the theoretical basis for monitoring strategy of web-based self-regulated learning; the third chapter is the design for monitoring system for learning process of network courses,and it has described the overall framework of the monitoring system for learning process and designed the system function for both of teacher and learner;the forth chapter has summarized the implement of monitoring system for learning process of network courses from a technical point of view and described the main database design and public class design. The fifth chapter is the summary of the study and the prospects for future research.The thesis has designed and implemented a monitoring system for learning process of network courses for the purpose of strengthening the process of network courses management and improving the quality of web-based learning, and to provide reference help for network education teaching management and learning monitoring system software development.
