Moral emotions are the responses and performances to the inner moral world of people in affection. They are people's inner experiences and attitudes created by whether the objective things accord with their own moral needs and the code of social ethics. Cultivating junior students good moral emotions can improve their level of moral cognition and stimulate their moral needs. It is good for the habit of ethical behavior and sound personality.This research is based on some past researches, supported by a large number of theories. It discusses and analyses some basic theoretical issues of moral emotions, for example, the concepts, features, contents and functions. Based on questionnaire survey, the research summarizes the current status and existed problems of junior students'moral emotions and analyses some influence factors. At last, put forward some cultivating approaches of moral emotions.This research is mainly used the questionnaire method, to investigate the current status of junior students'moral emotions. It selects 2 junior schools from X city and Y city of Liaoning Province and takes three classes from first grade, second grade, third grade, a total of 301 students as investigation objects. The questionnaire is through the relationship between moral emotions and individual needs to design questions. It includes four aspects:to one's own feeling of self-cognition, self-esteem and self-love and shame, etc; to others feeling of friendship, sympathy and thanksgiving, etc; to social feeling of responsibility, patriotic, collective and justice, etc; to nature feeling of ecological morals.Through research analysis, we find that the overall situation of junior students'moral emotions is good. They can clearly understand some types of moral emotions. With the growth of their ages, they gradually develop some advanced social moral emotions, but meanwhile, there are some problems, the junior students'moral emotions'functions are not actually developed, they can not combined with moral cognitions and moral behaviors appropriately. Although students have some moral emotions, they not always direct to corresponding moral behaviors. In addition, there are some students have generated some extreme moral emotions. It is very bad for their physical and mental growth.The situation of junior students' moral emotions is affected by various factors, not only macroscopic reasons, like social environment, but also some microscopic reasons, like school education, family education and student's own reasons. Based on the survey results and influence factors, we propose some cultivating approaches:creating a good social culture atmosphere and moral environment; exerting the leadership function of family moral environment; strengthening commutation and cooperation of social, family and school; creating school atmosphere good for students to develop their moral emotions and bringing students' subjective activity.
