More and more people pay close attention to campus violence. As much as young people are required to attend school, they deserve schools that are safe, secure and peaceful, free of violence, intimation and fear. To prevent from such violence, vision of safety and legal rights are needed to be set up between teachers and students. In the current situation, creating safe schools requires effective partnerships with responsible adults who have a shared commitment and vision of safety. School-based community oriented policing can form such partnership. School oriented policing service deployed in community oriented policing, and assigned police department or agency to work in collaboration with schools and community- based organizations. According to different situation from different schools, school oriented policing take measures with a clear objective in mind; help coordinate collaborative problem solving with students, parents, teachers, school stuff, school administrators and the police, to involve the local community in school safety. School oriented policing initiative is designed to induce community policing into the school environment by educating both law enforcement and school administrators in a comprehensive community policing training curriculum and preventing students and teachers from campus violence. Many countries implement school oriented policing service in different way. In China, new model of policing takes effective measures to control of campus violence, however, many difficulties are still existed. What the law requires and what the law allows with regard to school operation and management do not make clear. Students and teachers misunderstand the meaning of school oriented policing service. To handle those difficulties, we can try to make agreements between law enforcement officers and school administrators, even with community groups. Law enforcement officials or school administrators have long known that they cannot successfully deal alone with the dual issues of responding to crime and correcting the conditions that generate crime. Agreement confirms the relationship between law enforcement officials and school administrators. Selecting, training and developing school policing officers are very important. The officer and educator will be provided with an array of programmatic opportunities that complement their mutual interests in providing a safe school and in the learning process. In order to make sure school safety, sharing a common vision is sound foundation. School oriented policing may teach curriculum, such as law-related education and prevention of campus violence, and may coordinate other student activities, such coaching and peer mediation. At the same time, the curriculum segments on child development and interventions can also enhance the officer's understanding in meeting students'needs. Effective school-based community oriented policing can stick up for safe campus environment and prevent from campus violence.
