Higher education occupies an important position in the state education. The performance of teachers directly determines the quality of talent and the momentum of national development. Recent years, State educational institutions clearly put forward requirements of strengthening the teaching evaluation and establishing a long-term mechanism that ensure to improve teaching quality. The teaching quality of colleges and universities has been increasingly paid special attention under the new circumstances that the society puts higher and higher demand for college students. Carrying out the activities of evaluating the performance of college teachers is a comparatively effective way to guarantee and improve teacring level and an effective means for educational administrative departments to monitor teachers'teaching activities. However, at present situation, there still exist problems in the target and content of evaluation as well as the institutionalization and non-standardization for the research university teaching performance. The present system of the performance evaluation can not adapt to the needs of the development of The Times. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a set of teaching performance evaluation system suitable for China's national conditions based on the present situation of the development of our research universities.Based on the existing teaching performance evaluation system, this paper aims at analyzing the current situation of Research University Teaching performance evaluation in our country. By induction and analysis of the system's current situation through the use of the balanced scorecard method, the structural equation model (SEM), the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation etc, we established mathematical mode, make quantitative evaluation on the index proportion and running state, made a detailed analysis on the influencing factors and put forward some advice for the improvement of the performance evaluation system, providing some useful reference and help for the development of our Research University Teaching performance evaluation.
