The development and utilization of course resources are new tasks put forward by the latest course reform. Regarding the Chinese discipline,"Chinese course standard of full-time compulsory education"and"Chinese course in high school"have clearly viewed popular song as an important course resource Chinese is the course of the mother tongue,which have incomparable advantage of development of resources more than other courses .The popular song is a part of our life, it well received by student. This thesis tries to explore systematically the originality connotation of popular songs on the basic of current relevant research, so as to introduce the popular songs into Chinese classroom, which could serve as an important Chinese course resource.The popular song can be regarded as Chinese course resources. On one hand, the development basic of introducing popular songs as the Chinese course resource: the characteristics of the age, the need of the students, as well as the need of new reform of the Chinese course. Meantime, the theories of life education, of multicultural education, and of recessive course have offered us a solid theory foundation. Secondly, the relevance of popular songs and Chinese course do make the development meaningful. The obvious part displays at the wording, figure of speech, poesy, writing . And the recessive aspect displays at thinking, relationship, imagination, emotion education, etc.The four principles of development which are directing at the characteristics of popular songs and the need of Chinese education are practical, accurate, reasonable and compatible. These principles are developed with the education department, school, teacher and student as the principle part. The classic cases and problems are analyzed so as to provide some references to teachers. Lastly, the conditions of popular songs being the Chinese course resource are macroscopically put forward: the brand new idea of courses, the favorable social cultural atmosphere, the support and attention from school, the understanding of parents and the ability and competence of teachers. Microscopically, the principal position of students, the extent of popular songs, and the precaution and correction on negative effect of popular songs are needed. It is hoped that the thesis could provide some effective teaching strategies for the educators and promote the reform of Chinese education.
