Research On The Status Quo, Causes And Countermeasures Of The College Students' Moral Hiatus

Today's society turns a new page and the speed of development is much faster than before. We can say that everything is moving in the right direction. People's living standards improved, material life up, while the state of moral development is worrying. In recent years, the phenomenon of college students'moral hiatus occurs frequently that makes more and more researchers found that the problem of college students'moral hiatus phenomenon is unavoidable and should be of general concern of all the society. Because it is not just a person and even a family problem, it is a problem of the entire society. Whether this problem can be properly handled or not will directly affect the entire country's sustainable development and the ability to achieve the lofty ideal of building a harmonious society. So if we want to improve the situation, we must find the root causes of this problem.On the issue of college students'education, which is exactly a link to the problem? Why moral hiatus phenomenon will emerge in endlessly? On the basis of analysis of the status quo, I found that the four leading causes of moral hiatus are:First, family reasons:parents impose their own private wishes on their children; parents hope their children will have a bright future; parents make their children prepare early to meet the society; most families are only children and always very spoiled their children. Second, school reasons:school rules and regulations imperfect;school supervision and inspection is not enough; the goal of moral education is too high, the content of moral education is far away from reality and the methods of moral education is single. Third, social reasons:old and new moral values conflict; the system of market economy is imperfect; students don't'know what to do because of environment change; job-seeking is difficult and too much pressure of competition; the influence of network environment. Fourth, the influence of students'own factors:Students' self-consciousness development is not sufficient; students'thinking quality is not perfect; students'psychological quality is not mature; students'moral cognition and moral behavior is not uniform.In view of the above four reasons, I try to put forward countermeasures:First, the aspect of family:strengthen the communication between parents and students; enhance exchange of information and feedback between parents and teachers. Second, the aspect of school: establish and improve the school rules and regulations; strengthen supervision and inspection of the school; make the goal of moral education hierarchical, make the content of moral education close to life and diverse the methods of moral education. Third, the aspect of society:enhance people's moral consciousness and build civil society environment; optimize network environment and eliminate hidden dangers. Fourth, the aspect of students'own factors:introspection; model demonstration; practice.In this article, I make systematic study on the phenomenon of college students'moral hiatus through the combination of theory and practice. I want to give people a unified understanding of moral hiatus and draw our attention on this phenomenon. And then, we can effectively solve this problem.
