Japan Secondary Vocational Education Research

Secondary vocational education is an important component of contemporary education part of the industrialization and socialization of production , an important pillar of modernization.China is in the phase of economic take—off,industrial structure adjustment,and requires a large number of service,technology and management of front line operations and service oriented personnel . However , our late start in secondary vocational education , weak infrastructure,backward thinking,etc,such caused our slow development of secondary vocational education which has seriously affected our economy.Therefore,it is an important strategy for our current task to actively promote the reform of secondary vocational education system,vigorously develop secondary vocational education and training sectors to meet the requirements of high—quality talent.Japan is one of the most developed countries in the world on secondary vocational eduction.They have complete secondary vocational education system,strict and comprehensive training system of vocational education legislation.As our situation is not the same with that of Japan we can not simply copy the Japanese model of secondary vocational education,instead,we should learn from their successful experience,go our own way which adapts to our own situation,open minds,keep pace with the times,to explore the new approach to Chinese characteristics secondary vocational education development.This paper studied the Sino—Japanese secondary vocational education from four aspect,among which mainly literature study,the history of law are used.Part I:describes the importance of this research,the study subject,and clearly defined the concept of secondary vocational education in Japan.Part II:review the history,development and implementation of the secondary vocational education in Japan,with conclusion of its characteristics.Part III:Review the start up and development of our secondary Vocational Education to identified the inadequacies and we can learn from the Japan'S success in secondary vocational education.
