It is possible to promote student's life-long career development which based on the basic education period of the whole career education;it is hard to achieve success under the background of cramming career education before joining a job.In our country,career education of higher education stage are beginning to be paid attention,however,career education in the stage of basic education has not yet caused widespread attention.This paper chooses Japan as the research object to explore the concrete teaching practice in primary and secondary schools' career education,which help to offer career education experience of primary and secondary schools.At the turn of the century,due to the influence of economic globalization,the aging population and low fertility,the social and industrial economic structure of Japan has changed dramatically,and the employment system has been diversified.As a result,the young people also changed their ideology and consciousness.The primary and secondary schools have developed their academic and career counseling into the vocational guidance.But it is gradually difficult to deal with the early high turnover rate,unemployed issues of graduates and many other issues,then career education came into being.The career education of primary and secondary schools in Japan begins from the end of the 20 th century,which has gone through a long-term exploration,and it shapes the basic curriculum framework to promote the development of students in 4 domain and 8 ability,and it is gradually transferred into the basic ability framework.At the same time,they also develop the teaching organization,teaching design and ability-oriented teaching evaluation system so as to support the implementation of course arrangement.This paper analyzes teaching content and teaching methods of career education in different stages which based on the concrete teaching practice of primary school,junior high school and high school.On this basis,this paper summed up three major policies of Ministry of Education,Culture,Sports,Science and Technology and Ministry of Economy,Trade and Industry and Ministry of Health,Labor and Welfare,which support career education teaching of primary and secondary schools,especially for experiencing activities.This paper argues that the development of career education in primary and secondary schools in China can be improved from Japan's localization practice: the development of career education needing the policy support from national level;the construction of flexible social resource integration mechanism;the development of career education implementation framework;establishing a perfect evaluation system of career education.
