Take advantage of teaching materials to perform cultural inheritance on students, construct classical Chinese classes where there is the harmony of instrumentation and humanism, where knowledgable ability and emotional value enjoy the same importance, and where there is "culture" as well as " literature", so as to make the teaching of Chinese classics of true language arts. Chinese culture, though having witnessed turbulent times in a long history, is continuous and endless with colorful and profound connotations. It is through Chinese classics that such splendid cultural achievements can be maintained wholely and orderly. In the classical Chinese lies the Chinese history, the essence of the national emotion, and glaring wisdom of ancestors. We should make the best of the classical works, going deep into the teaching materials for the cultural connotation, to seek the most representative of the nation's most precious possession from the history of thousands of years, to explore the cultural value from the deep ancient culture, thus making the students build up belief in the value of traditional culture. At present, although domestic research achievements about the teaching of Chinese classics is rich, but attention should still be paid to the research focusing on the teaching of Chinese classcics in high school. This essay, based on "the Standard of Chinese Curriculum for High School" by the education department and combined with the practice in the teaching of Chinese classics in high school, discusses in four chapters the implementation process of cultural inheritance in the teaching of Chinese classics in high school. It approaches the teaching of Chinese classics in high school from the aspects of the definition, the history and current situations, the reasons and meanings, and the practical teaching strategies in particular. The essay explores the teaching of Chinese classics in high school from the angle of culture, trying to draw scholar's attention and make the research complete and to the full, thus finding the best route in the teaching of Chinese classics in high school to improve its quality.
