The combination of college ideology & politics and psychology health education will become the inexorable trend leading traditional ideology & politics educations of college and university. College ideology & politics and psychology health education constituted an important part of moral education. Combination of ideology & politics and psychology health education has provided a general guidance while lacking of timely adjusting with the operation system of colleges and universities from the medium view; from the micro view, the teaching level of faculty on ideology & politics education requires more room for improvement. This paper focus on the below research to contribute to better achievement of combination of ideology & politics and psychology health education among colleges and universities:1.To define the connotation of college ideology & politics and psychology health education with analysis on the progress of national and oversea research on college ideology & politics and psychology health education and making analysis on their difference and relationship and therefore combing the relationship between college ideology & politics and psychology health education and offering solid theoretical foundation for their combination.2.To discuss the necessity and feasibility of combination of ideology & politics and psychology health education under the new social situation, characteristics of contemporary college students and the current status of college ideology & politics and psychology health education. On the one hand, the necessity of combination of ideology & politics and psychology health education has been discussed following the requirements of building a harmonious society, implementing our country's educational policies, characteristics of college students and development of psychology health education. Introducing psychology health education into ideology & politics education by multiple approaches and drawing lessons from psychology health education, connecting solutions to psychological, ideological and practical problems. Thus to realize the combination of college ideology & politics and psychology health education and it will greatly benefit the overall development of student and student group while advancing the self achievement of students and social development.
