The Prose is one of the most popular literary forms selected by the Chinese teaching materials in the high school, which is occupied in a very important position in Chinese Language Teaching. However, the genre of the Prose is formed from widely drawn, and the style of the essay is formed into flexible and comfortable. It breaks through the limitations of other forms of paper and binding, there is considerable arbitrariness. Therefore, over the years, teaching Contemporary Prose has not come out a clear knowledge-point and logic sequence of the teaching content, the lack of effective teaching strategy haven't been the leads to many Chinese language teachers guiding them on teaching reading in the prose, Understanding of teaching is basically in the blind state. Moreover, many Chinese language teachers, because of they are lack of stylistic accomplishment themselves, the characteristics of prose style can not be combined to use to determine the appropriate course content, the proper interpretation sense of the reading ability are need to be improved. Therefore, teaching Contemporary Prose is now in an inefficient way in the high school, This inefficiency is not only involved in the overall state of Chinese language teaching, but also the prose of their own characteristics that leads into neglected genre of literature.This article attempts to start from the characteristics the Chinese language subjects, make the combination form both of the domestic and international research on effective teaching theory. From the theoretical level, I will try to deduce my new proposed curriculum standards and basic principles for contemporary prose reading. At the same time from the basic characteristics of the high school contemporary prose reading, I will determine appropriate teaching content. And from the perspective of teaching content and teaching methods, I will derive into some specific real, detail and operational methods. This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part, against the backdrop existing problems of the new curricula standard of the Chinese language teaching course, give diagnosis to the current high school contemporary prose reading, analyze the status quo and take reflectiveThe second part, summarize the basic feature in the contemporary theory, Described the characteristics of effective teaching, combined with the new concept of curricula standard, try to find out the basic principles for effective teaching in high school contemporary prose readingThe third part combined with the teaching practice, summary the content of Chinese language teaching on the reading, try to determine the proper teaching contentThe fourth part is from the perspective of teaching content, trying to start from a certain type of article, abstract out some universal effective teaching methods from the inside.
