Bacon once said:" Studies serve for delight, for ornament, and for ability. Their chief use for delight, is in privateness and retiring; for ornament, is in discourse; and for ability, is in the judgment, and disposition of business. " A wide range of reading interests, increase reading surface, increasing the quantity of reading to do less to promote issues, more books, good reading, read good books, read the whole book. And in the overall objective of the total amount of reading has been to quantify the specific and clear requirements.Nine-year total should be reading more than 400 million words. Students reading for the wealth of knowledge and improve human quality, strive to improve the personality and the ability of students for lifelong learning plays an important role. But in real life,the status of junior high school extracurricular reading how is it? Junior high school reading, what are the problems? How can we better solution? Through investigation and analysis of this paper to find junior high school students reading problems, analyze the causes and find countermeasures, hoping to initiate, lead to front-line teachers for junior high school students pay more attention to extracurricular reading, in order to find more and better solution to truly improve the ability of middle school students reading for students of lifelong development foundation.
