Research On Negative Emotional Status And Related Factors Of Female Sex Workers

Objective:To investigate the anxiety and depression condition and the related factors of female sex workers.Methods:Selected 211 female sex workers from Jiangxi where is designated place then used self-compile general situation questionnaire, SAS,SDS,SSRS and COPE to survey and analysis.Results:(1)The anxiety and depression detection rate of 211 prostitutes are 61.1%,62.1%, there is serious anxiety and depression in the female sex workers(P<0.05).(2)The economic conditions and the urinary symptoms of the female sex workers have significant correlation with their anxiety and depression; but the age,the marital status and education of in the female sex workers have no significant correlation(P<0.05).(3)The social support of prostitutes have significant correlation with their anxiety and depression, The level of anxiety and depression of prostitutes who is lack of social support are significant higher than who is rich (P<0.05).(4)The coping style of prostitutes have significant correlation with their anxiety and depression, The level of anxiety and depression of prostitutes who use negative coping style are significant higher than who use positive(P<0.05).(5)Social support total, subjective support, era, fantasy, rationalization, economic status, symptoms of genitourinary system have enter the regression equation of mood; utilization of support, problem-solving, recourse, retreat, age, education level, marital status have not enter the regression equation of mood.Conclusion:Social support, coping style etc factors can influence the emotional status of female sex workers, we can improve it use this factors.
