The Research On Assessment Of Professional Service Of Social Work Organizations

Since 1978, with the reforming of the political system and economic system in China, that China has established a "small government, big society" mode, and also established the market economy. And the transformation of government functions makes the relationship between the country and market, the country and society faced a big change and adjustments. In this context, the non-profit organizations face the unprecedented opportunities and challenges. These organizations undertake part of the responsibilities which belong to the government before. They provide quality services and reduce the government burden, and also use the social resources effectively. In the context, the social work agencies have been an unprecedented development, becoming an irreplaceable part in the society. The government in city S first tried to purchase the services from social work agencies. So it is necessary to evaluate the agencies, the services they provided, and the standardization of the agency and so on. And as a basis, we make clear the development in future; make sure the parts we need to improve; and to perfect the degree of specialization and standardization of the agencies. And take the S city as an example to give other cities a reference to develop social work.The paper take the social work agencies assessment in S city as an example, from the Professional services and Administrative Professional these two aspects to do a comprehensive assessment,to figure out the advantages and disadvantages. And at last I explain the reasons for the existence of the problem and propose practical suggestions.
