To explore how to cultivate students' multiple abilities and how to improve the accomplishment in biological science in the information age, based on the illustrations teaching, the paper applies literature research, survey research, comparative study of research methods, to conduct a study of teaching illustrations in the new high school biology curriculum.In the introduction, the issue background is raised. The research status on the illustrations teaching at home and abroad and the status on the Middle School students' abilities to read maps is stated.Part One is the theoretical research on the illustrations teaching in high school new Biological curriculum. First, the concept of the illustrations teaching will be defined. Then, the theoretical foundation of the illustrations teaching will be illustrated. The theoretical function of the illustrations teaching will be explained from the teaching aims in new Biological curriculum.Part Two is the practical research on the illustrations teaching in high school new Biological curriculum. At the beginning, the illustrations in the new textbook and the old one will be compared and calculated. The composition, the classification, the property, its superior characteristics and existing problems in the teaching material in high school new Biological curriculum will be illustrated. Furthermore, survey the students' original and existing ability to understand shapes. Then, through the teaching practice in the illustrations in the teaching material in high school new Biological curriculum, the teaching strategies used in the high school biological illustrations can be discussed. All of this shows my teaching practice in which the illustration teaching will be processed purposefully and well-designedly. Finally, Through the preliminary experiment,and the research to the effect from the use of the illustration teaching strategies, it turned out that the illustration teaching can efficiently improve the students'multiple abilities and the score of test in biology. The specific operation steps of the illustration teaching are conclued and then the recollection and the suggestion are obtained.In Part Three, the thinking and conclusion in the practical research on the illustrations teaching in high school new Biological curriculum is made.
