During twenty-first century, China is in the crucial period to her high-speed construction and development. Expanding city's limits ceaselessly makes community construction be a key component of social development and also increases promptly community teenager matters. From aspect of social development, one of important tasks for youth development is to further research and promote teenager community education. Its significance and sense of urgency have become the focus of our government and people from various circles.The innovation of basic education has continuously developed, which has impacted the traditional closed-end management mode in schools. Building effective joint between community education and school education has become the new concept of lifelong education and education for all. And it's also the inevitable trend of the whole educational concept. Only when teacher gets enough information about students'after-school education, especially their community education, can he make contribution to effectively enhancing cooperation between school and community, realizing joint between school education and community education, improving the quality of students and promoting their all-round development. In this thesis the city in central China, Changsha, is taken as an example to summarize the present situation of community education for teenagers, finding problems and deeply exploring them, and to provide certain operating experience for it.This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one, which is the prolegomenon, mainly discusses the background and the meaning, the formulation of relative researches at home and abroad, and the explanation and the exposition of the thought and the methodology of research.The second one makes a statement to describe the general situation of the development of community education for teenagers both here and abroad and summarizes the experience of it. The third one analyzes the present situation of the community education for teenagers in Yuelu District, including the description of its system. Its successful examples and its shadow zones and deficiencies, are also included. While In the last chapter, the author raises some ideas for the improvement of it.
