Research On Relationship Between Psychological Capital And Career Exploration Behavior

Based on the related studies both at home and abroad, the author tries to explore the psychological capital on career exploration behavior relationship, investigating more than 200 senior students of DongHua university. The study hopes to promote the students a clear act of psychological capital on the specific impact of career exploration, relying on the improvement of psychological capital and improve career exploration behavior.What's more, the sdudy also want to help the students to carry out their own career planning, enhance their competitiveness in the job search and promote comprehensive development of successful employment.Firstly, the author conducted in-depth study about the thesis of psychological capital, career exploration behavior of relevant research, then put forward five hypotheses. Then take a sample survey on students in fourth grade from 10 colleges of Donghua university, according to the adaptation of "psychological capital scale" and "career exploration behavior scale". After a scale reliability, validity testing, the two scales had good reliability and validity, can be used in this study. Next, verify the hypothesis by using descriptive statistics, analysis of variance and so on. Finally, build a psychological capital intervention model, make a detailed design around the four-year university students to develop their psychological capital.This study get three conclusions, first of all, the author found that sex have significant influence on optimism, resilience and hope, sex have little influence on self-efficacy and psychological capital. Majoy have little influence on self efficacy, hope and psychological capital, have significant influence on optimism and resilience. students' regional source have little influence on optimism, resilience, self-efficacy, hope and psychological capital. Learning situation have little influence on the optimism, self-efficacy and hope, have significant influence on resilience and psychological capital. Social Practice have little influence on resilience, self-efficacy and optimism. students' regional source, Learning situation and Social Practice have little influence on career exploration behavior, sex and major have significant influence on career exploration behavior., Career exploration behavior of boys are more active than girls, and the Professional Engineering students are more active than that in liberal arts and science majors in the job search. What's more, optimism, self-efficacy, hope, resilience and psychological capital can predict career exploration behavior, people can develop individual psychology capita to promote their career exploration behavior.The innovation of the research mainly includes three points, firstly, introduced the concept of psychological capital, Secondly, make a study on the differences between the demographic variables and psychological capital, such as sex, major, students' regional source, learning situation and social Practice.
