In the process of the students growth and development, school education plays an important and the dominant role, but family is a very important power too, with only school unilateral power cannot smoothly improve education work. Large study also proof that, parental participate in school education to students' acadwemic performance and behavior affect the healthy physical and mental aspects of development. In this understanding,"Parents"as the management of such a role of participate in school education, has been considered as a third force in the modern management education.Therefore, the most important realistic problem is how parents and school go to educate on students and form the strong cooperation together, already become each parents and education workers of common concern .Since the 1990s,"parental involvement in school education"has gradually become the one of the hot topics in American education research.This thesis mainly reviewing parents to participate in school education theory progress and practice status in American, expounds the development course, practice activities about parents to participate in school education, and thus generating effect on this basis, but also analyzes the parents to participate in school education of successful experiences and problems. On the one hand, in order to promote the parents to participate in school education actively, the United States has formulated a series of rich content of policies and regulations, implement the many practical plan for our parents provides a good model. Meanwhile, the parents to participate in school education process and not accomplished, bon voyage, also may have this or that kind of problem, as long as we can correct understanding to the problem, you wouldn't make repeat the mistake.The second chapter is the important part of this thesis,it mainly introduced the content, practice process, participation way and the role of parents to participate in school education, the author tries to stand at the parents, help to understand American parents how to participate in school education, then bring us some practical experience, not just the theory of satisfy. In addition to points out, to compare the parents to participate in school education, but also simply introduced the implementation of parents to participate in school education in China, we should combine national conditions, not blindly copying, summarizes the experience of America,has the following counter measures: first, the state should formulate and perfect laws and regulations of parents to participate in school education and related policy, Second, the government and schools should strengthen parents to participate in school education on support and management, Third, build the organization system from the school to the national parents on participate in school education, Fourth, transformate the concepet of parents and school, to realize mutual equality concepts communication.
