| The full name of CUBA is "China University Basketball Association". It is a national special college basketball game jointly held by the Chinese university basketball association and Hang Zhou HengHua group using the mode of socialization, industrialization operation, for the purpose of "Developing the basketball game, Cultivating basketball talents", which is organized by the CUBA league commitments. Until 2010 twelve sessions have been held successfully, with the constant development and expansion of CUBA, its system is approaching perfection. At present CUBA has developed into an event with the most widely covering region, the most participants and the highest cultural level in China. With its influence expanding, CUBA is known as the "hope project" of Chinese basketball. But at the same time we should also see that under the unique system of China, there are many links and multi-level cohesion from the beginning selection of the talents of CUBA to the final results of their conveying. Therefore if one step's development is not perfect, it will lead to the growing problem of the cooperation of all levels. For example, the lack of scientific and reasonable selection mechanism in personnel selection and the neglect of the requirement of player's "ball quotient", only regarding the students'bodies as absolute balance index, will inevitably restrict tactics of the play and influence the development of CUBA. In addition, the essential attribute of the basketball athletes as college students'final employment problem has become the bottleneck of restricting the development. Although more attention has been paid by related departments, to basically solve the problem of "learning and training", we must start from the foundation of the selection of athletes and the conflict between coaches'cultural level and the development of modern science and technology. As the subject of basketball game, the level of a coach has become the key of the development of a team, but many of the college coaches'cultural level is low, who arranges the training content only by personally experience. This makes the training contents, modern players'quality and frontier tactical and technical development not harmonious. The training only focuses on hard work but not scientific, which results in increased injuries of athletes. At present our country's college sports department is lack of modern marketing awareness and concepts on management. Most of them are reluctant to step into the society to develop sports sponsorship marketing, which resulted in the lack of funds and affected the construction of the team and the development of scale. Moreover, factors as the venue and instrument have also restricted the integrative development of CUBA. To get out of confusion, China University Basketball must introduce new idea of development, to reform the innovation, to explore the sustainable development strategy.The author has often attended the related activities of CUBA events since 2005 in China University Basketball Association as technical statistics personnel during the competition. Mastering the related data and material of CUBA in recent years, and through the questionnaires to coaches and students and the analysis of statistical data of CUBA, the author hopes to research the problems of CUBA in the choosing and conveying of talents, and to put forward some feasible suggestions. According to the results of this study, we get the following conclusions:(1) Perfect summer camp, building CUBA talents training base.Summer camp and CUBA talents training base play an important role in promoting the development of primary and secondary school basketball, and constantly improving the CUBA league competitive level, speeding up the training high-level basketball backup talents. It is an important way of forming a primary secondary-university "pyramid" basketball talent cultivation system.(2) Establish good relationships with middle schools The good cooperation among CUBA universities, schools with basketball tradition and teenager sports school, is also an important way of cultivating the talents. Therefore, colleges should establish long-term cooperation relations with middle schools, and regularly hold related player-selection games to discover and train basketball talents early. In addition, we should promote the overall improvement of basketball atmosphere to make more students participate in basketball sports and to expand basketball talents backup.(3) Pay attention to the cultivation of students'cultural quality.The essential attribute of the basketball athletes are college students, which means that it should be the basis of cultivating students with basketball specialty to ensure the all-round development of students'body and mind. And it is needed to put scholastic attainment into the necessary conditions of selection. Students'(athletes') culture study should be included in the process of training. Highly qualified basketball player is very good for the improvement of the whole quality of a basketball team, and can also reduce athletes'employment difficulties after graduation.(4)Improve coaches'quality, use high level coaches.The overall level of a university basketball team depends on many factors, including the athletes'level, the external influence, and competition's level etc. These elements are closely related with coaches'work, so the coaches'level quality can radically affect the overall level of a team. Therefore, colleges should attract coaches with high professional level and strong business capability, and make full use of social resources to improve college basketball coaches'overall level as soon as possible.(5)School-enterprise cooperation, by means of social resources to solve the problem of funds, in order to provide internal environment for the talents' trainingAt present the universities'teaming is facing huge funds trouble. The main reason is that most CUBA high standard basketball teams'training and competition fees mainly come from school unilateral training of competition for maintenance. These money is mainly used to guarantee regular training needs, but can't assure the athletes' training subsidy. Athletes don't have enough chance to attend high level games, especially for those games with long journey and big cost. The second is the difficulties of. Because of its low level, poor propaganda and bad social influences, universities sports market is against businessman's intervention. So schools should change the idea, to create "brand strategy", making basketball as school card to improve schools'fame. This needs to reform format, to increase competition sequences, to improve appreciation publicity activities, particularly television media participation, to make full use of social forces to obtain the development fund to provide good internal environment for talents training.(6) Establish the market competition mechanism, improve the quality of talents.It is the final link of our talents'training to make talents have a good result, but the present situation of the conveying of CUBA is worrying. Less than 0.2% of conveying rate makes many people feel that CUBA was just a flash in the pan. The narrow transmission channel is the key of the problem, but the low quality of talents is the fundamental reason of being trapped in the embarrassing situation. To achieve greater development, CUBA must establish market competition mechanism, and connect with professional league. Only to improve the quality of talents, can more people pay attention to CUBA, can the conveying channels be richer and smoother.
