With the development of new technology and new media, media literacy has become one of the most important literacy to people in the new ear. Now many fields of society, especially educational area, are paying more attention to improving the young people's media literacy, increasing their ability to know, understand, distinguish and use of the media and media information.School is an important base to train students'media literacy. This thesis aimed at the effectiveness of integrating media literacy education with the curriculums of the students of K-12.Focusing on this purpose, this research has fulfilled with the following tasks: Firstly, the paper researches the history of integrating media literacy education with the curriculums, discusses the meaning and methods of the media literacy education. According of them, the author points out the integration of media literacy education and curriculum is a feasible way in our country.Secondly, based on the theory research and investigation, the author discusses the effectiveness of integrating media literacy education with curriculums.Thirdly, the paper designs an integration scheme, including the integration process and principles, and points out the educational objectives and evaluation method according to the taxonomy of educational objectives and the media literacy education meaning.Fourthly, the author takes a media literacy investigation for the primary school and the secondary school students, designs a teaching plan based on the integration scheme with teacher, and puts it into practice. After that the author proves the effectiveness of the scheme based on the students'behavior and exercises in the classroom, and the audit, interview of the students and the teacher.At last, the paper summarizes the whole research and teaching practice and looks forward the further research.
