The Gradually Embedding Course Under Selective Affinity: A Case Study On The Development Course Of Mianzhu Qing-Hong Center Of Social Work Services

People from all walks of life have tried their best to help those people who were affected by the huge earthquake happened in Wenchuan area in 12 May, 2008. Many social workers have also made positive responses. Some social work teachers and students from universities as the main body of the professional post-disaster organizations for social work services began to emerge. During the long process of the post-disaster reconstruction, some organizations have been evacuated, some have midway dead young, but others are successfully rooted and presented the vigorous development of power. Mianzhu Qing-Hong center of social work services is the first officially registered organization of the people-run non-enterprise. And It is a certain representative of the local organizations.The author thinks the research for the development course of this organization has special significance.As a case study ,this paper's object is the Qing-Hong center of social work services.It describes the development process of the organization by details, reveals the characteristics of the development process depth, puts forward some related theory viewpoints, and to care more wide range of theory and practice orientation. After more than two years of participatory observation, and in conjunction with the relevant physical materials as well as interviews materials, the writer have showed the development course of the organization comprehensively and clearly and found that this process reflected the following characteristics: First, inexplicably deep and complex and happened to meet: the combination of personal feelings and acquaintances relationships; Second, the "gatekeeper" matchmaking; Third, the deep coterie care and escorting; Fourth, the construction of conditional partnership; Fifth, the perfect portraiture of "life influence life" ;and so on.On this basis, the development course of the organization was described as a selective affinity and gradual process of embedding. That is to say, as a main body, the"Qing-Hong"gave full play to its subject initiative. In certain circumstances after disasters, they constructed affinity relationship expedient and selectively with relevant parties. This relationship is both action and results. It shows a kind of gradually embedded course of action and results. From different levels and perspectives, this particular situation contains that embedded in local situations, in various social support network, in local specific social structure and in local social culture ,and so on. The speed and degree of this course is gradual.Finally, the author combined the results of this study and related theories and practices , enriched and developed relevant knowledge. The limitations of this study and the further research space were discussed preliminary to show the potential within this research issue.
