Social work embedded into non professional social work administration already became the fact that does not dispute, this is social work professional development needs, it is also the trend of current Chinese social transformation. The community is the field of accumulated a large number of service object information, at the same time specific community service work needs high-quality professionals, so it is provides the possibility of professional social work embedded into community.This study selected the Shenzhen A community service center for case study, using the perspective of embeddedness theory, through adopting the method of literature study, interview and participant observation method to collect information, presenting the complexity of professional social work" embedded" the specific operation space of community. Professional social work embedded into community, it is required us to clarify the following four questions:the embedded subject, embedded object, embedded in the process as well as the embedding effect. The embedded body is the profession of social work, including people in the professional work, referred to as a social worker, also contains what they carry out professional activities; embedded object is the field of community service.The process of professional social work embedding into community experienced a growth cycle, including the exploration period, the running-in period, into the period.after a period of exploration of the knowledge community system, develop service plan, exploration period to seek cooperation and alliance with the community of all functional departments, into the period of joint action, implementation services for government, achieve the effect of sufficient affirmation and support, making full use of community resources, reforming community service system, the increase of community welfare.
