Ideological and Political Education Methodology is the comprehensive evaluation that evaluation subject, according to its nature and purpose, judge the attribute of object in utility and degree satisfying subject (human and society). It is the inherent requirement of the methodologica theory and practical development to deepen the understanding of the comprehensive evaluation and its system, contents and value. Also it is the important approach to widen and deepen methodologica practice and to extend and create the fundamental theory of the discipline of Ideological and Political Education.This paper mainly comprehensively evaluated the achievements of Ideological and Political Education Methodology from their system, contents and value. Part I: Theoretical review of Ideological and political education methodology from three different periods, namely the theoretical formation, development and innovation.Part II: research and evaluation of methodologica system through study on the theoretical formation and construction, the theoretical ration and innovation. Part III: evaluation of the contents of Ideological and Political Education Methodology, focusing on the major changes over years(contents of study object, function and features, principle and base). Part IV: evaluation of the value of Ideological and Political Education Methodology on theory and practice, individual and its social value, value subject and object. Part V: conclusion, overall summarization and prediction of the study on Ideological and Political Education Methodology.
