College students’Ideological and Political Education, as an important part of the advanced education, relates to achieving the basic tasks of morality education. With the rapid development of Chinese economic society and the intensive promotion of educational reform, college students’Ideological and Political Education is faced with new problems and test. How to adapt to a new situation and satisfy new request is the urgent issue for the advanced schools to solve currently. Implementing the evaluation of college students Ideological and Political Education and building up a scientific evaluation system and method is the important means and efficient path to drive advanced schools’Ideological and Political Education.To establish a scientific, reasonable and operable ideological and political education evaluation system which meets the needs of contemporary college students, the method and the model of evaluation should be more comprehensive and objective so that it can measure and evaluate students’ideological and political education. Thus it can help to adapt to the objective requirement of s scientization standardization and modernization in selecting college students of today’s society. In terms of the existing problems, such as the narrow assessing target, the single assessing methods, the lack of evaluation indexes and subjective evaluation standard, this thesis put forward basic principles on construction of the ideological and political education evaluation system. On the basis of literature study and questionnaire survey, combined with the relevant document issued by the Central Publicity Department and the ministry of education, it establishes and perfects the index system of the ideological and political education evaluation index system from different aspects. Through the analysis of existing evaluation approach of ideological and political education, and the domestic and international performance management for reference, according to the index characteristics of ideological and political education evaluation system to college students, it contracted various mathematical methods that determine the index weight, and established and perfected the quantitative approach of index system. At last, based on the index membership function model, it established a fuzzy mathematical comprehensive evaluation model of ideological and political education of college students.Finally, the paper takes Southwest Petroleum University as an example for an analysis. The evaluation shows that the results of the evaluation system of college students’ideological education conducted in this thesis is equal to that of Southwest Petroleum University evaluation system. It fully illustrates that the ideological and political education of the established fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is scientific and effective.
