Purposes:40 to 69 years old community residents participate in exercise intervention for six months in Shanghai. The purpose of this study is to promote scientific fitness knowledge and method, establish a scientific health behavior, improve and enhance people's health, contribute to Shanghai's urban construction and development services.Subject and Methods:In this study, selecting 6 areas in Shanghai, including 40 to 69 years old community residents (both regular participation in physical activity and no serious illness) as the subjects, Hongkou District 190, Baoshan District 311, Fengxian District 53, Chongming District 97, Luwan District 210, Huangpu District 62, atotal of 923 people. After 6 months of exercise intervention in subjects, physical index changed. Exercise prescription is based on Shanghai people's health monitoring network system, this system uses software engineering methods, which is based on Windows system as the platform, developing from ping B/S mode and C/S mixed model. Conduct physical testing of the subjects,and put their physical data into the system, then the system will provide the physical assessment and personalized exercise prescription to every subject.Finshing personalized exercise prescription,The Shanghai Administration of Sports of the Commonwealth Court conduct health education talks, then, the district is responsible for subjects'training, while the job of staff is to conduct on-site training guide. After the exercise intervention, all of index on subjects which were compared by experts, in order to observe and analyze their change patterns.Results:1. General comments of Physical fitness changes on subjects:after exercise intervention, the male aged 40 to 59 years old which the failure rate dropped by 5.2%, the passing rate dropped by 12.9%, the good rate dropped by 2.9%, the excellent rates increased by 20.9%; and the male aged 60 to 69 years old which the failure rate dropped by 0%, the passing rate dropped by 19.8%, the good rate increased by 8.8%, the excellent rates increased by 14.8%. The female aged 40 to 59 years old which the failure rate dropped by 2.6%, the passing rate dropped by 23%, the good rate increased by 8%, the excellent rates increased by 17.4%; and the female aged 60 to 69 years old which the failure rate dropped by 3.1%, the passing rate dropped by 19.3%, the good rate increased by 8.9%, the excellent rates increased by 13.2%. From the exercise intervention, the failure.rate and the passing rate on subjects droped in different degrees. Passing rate which declined more than 10% and excellent rate increased more than 10%.The changes of physique General Comments on Male and female are similar after exercise intervention, while they have their own characteristics.2. Subjects morphological index changes:After exercise intervention, no significant changes in height. Weight has decreased, among male aged 40 to 59 years old, with an average of weight decreasing by 1.663kg, p<0.01. Female population aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old with an average weight decreased by 0.951kg and 0.973kg, P<0.01. No significant changes in waist and hip circumference, The average of hip circumference of female aged 60-69 years old decreased by 0.82cm, p<0.01. BMI has decreased, the male aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old,with an average of BMI decreasing by 0.56 and 0.32, p<0.01 and p<0.05. The female aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old,with an average of BMI decreasing by 0.40 and 0.39, p<0.01. WHR has no significant changes.3. Subjects functional index changes:after exercise intervention, the lung capacity of female has improved significantly, among female aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old, with an average of lung capacity increasing by 105ml and 91 ml, p<0.01. Step index has increased significantly, in which female step index changed significantly, with an average of step index increasing by 3.40, p<0.01. Heart rate decreased in different degrees. Systolic blood pressure has improved, male (systolic blood pressure≥140mmHg), which the average systolic blood pressure decreased by 22.23mmHg, p<0.01; female (systolic blood pressure≥140mmHg), which the average systolic blood pressure decreased by 24.62mmHg, p<0.01. Diastolic blood pressure has also improved, male (diastolic blood pressure≥90mmHg), with an average diastolic blood pressure decreased by 12.22mmHg, p<0.01; female (diastolic blood pressure≥90mmHg), which an average of diastolic blood pressure decreased by 12.24mmHg, p<0.01.4. Subjects quality index changes:after exercise intervention, the grip strength has decreased except the female aged 60 to 69 years old. Male aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old, which Choice reaction time has improved, with an average of choice reaction time decreasing by 0.055s, p<0.01; female aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old, with an average of choice reaction time decreasing by 0.047s and 0.026s, p<0.01. One leg standing time with eyes closed has increased, and male aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old, with an average of one leg standing time with eyes closed increasing by 5.25s and 5.57s, p<0.05 and p<0.01; female aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old,increasing by 6.07s and 5.00s, p<0.01. Sit and Reach have improved differently, male aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old, with an average of Sit and Reach increasing by 3.19cm and 2.05cm, p<0.01; female aged 40 to 59 and 60 to 69 years old, with an average Sit and Reach increased by 2.96cm and 1.85cm, p<0.01.Conclusions:1. After Exercise intervention, the general comments of Physical fitness on subjects have improved in different degrees:the failure rates and the passing rare which decline in different degrees, the good rate and the excellent rates increased much more. The changes of physique General Comments on Male and female are similar after exercise intervision, but which have their own characteristics.2. Exercise intervention has a positive effect on weight control, help to improve body shape and keep weight.3. Exercise intervention can improve blood pressure and have a positive effect on the heart and lung function.4. Exercise intervention can enhance flexibility and balance, improve flexibility, sensitive.
