Frustration tolerance is the key ability of bearing frustration, resisting frustration and coping with frustration, and it also is the absolute necessary ability of protecting physical and mental health. In modern society, because of selection diversity, living uncertainty and living space competitiveness, individuals often feel anxious and have frustration feeling, so it has important practical significance to discuss the frustration tolerance. In the study of influencing factors of frustration tolerance, we found social support is regarded as an important factor gradually, because it has effect about protecting physical and mental health and improving frustration tolerance. Social support is a faculty support and help from other people. It can reduce mental stress reaction, release the tension of mental and improve social adaptability. Normal students'physical and mental development is in the intensity alteration period of mature and half mature. They are easily experiencing frustration. As future teacher and important people of students'life growth, normal students'frustration tolerance is not only influence their living, but also play a model role to their students. Therefore, this study took normal students as the research object, and adopted questionnaire method and in-depth case interviews, in order to understand present situation about normal students'frustration tolerance and social support, study the relationship between frustration tolerance and social support. The purpose is to provide data to the frustration tolerance education in order to do well in it.In this study, taking 421 normal students as the research object, adopted"Frustration Tolerance Scale","Social Support Rating Scale"and"Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Checklist"to test them. The mainly research results as follows:1. Normal students'frustration tolerance rank is divided into common rank. Normal students'frustrations are mainly from learning pressure, being punished and interpersonal relationship. The social support level of normal students is better.2. Normal students'frustration tolerance has the significant differences between gender and the students who has outstanding speciality and who has not. The social support total score has significant differences between student cadres and non-student cadres, the students who has outstanding speciality and who has not. As objective support, there is remarkable difference between the students who has outstanding speciality and who has not. The subjective support has significant differences between the only child of one couple students and non-only-child students, the students who has outstanding speciality and who has not. As the utilization of support, there are significant differences among different grades and between the only child of one couple students and non-only-child students, student cadres and non-student cadres, and the students who has outstanding speciality and who has not.3. There is significant positive correlation between frustration tolerance and the total score of the SSRS, objective support, subjective support, the utilization of support.4. Subjective support and the utilization of support could predict frustration tolerance, and they can account for 15.0% variance of frustration endurance. Especially the subjective support has the best prediction, the explanation is 11.7%.The regression equation was: frustration tolerance=7.796+0.363*subjective support +0.472* the utilization of support.By adopting questionnaire method and in-depth case interviews, the study suggests that improving normal students'frustration tolerance must make great effort in two aspects:One is normal students may learn to self-adjust and self-administrate social support network actively. Such as looking for advantages and strengthening self-concept in order to construct social support network; experiencing student cadres by taking part in student groups'activities and training the ability of constructing social support; learning to share, sincere communicating and balancing the payment and gain of social support.The other one is normal university must enhance frustration tolerance education's efficiency. Such as strengthening management system, caring for students to make teachers and school as an important source of support; creating frustration situation and carrying out various activities to training normal students; developing group counseling and interpersonal training actively, perfecting psychological consultation system in order to build third-party platform for normal students.
