With the development of higher education in our country, the teaching quality is becoming the main focus. To improve the teaching quality of higher education, we need to think about teachers'performance in classroom. That's to say, to improve teachers' performance is a important way to promote the development of higher education.How to design a scientific and rational assessment standard for teachers in higher education is a significant research topic.This research using four kinds of teaching theory and learning theory is expected to design a set of assessment standard which can separately be used for teaching experts, managements and also teachers themselves to evaluate teachers' teaching performance.This research will use literature research,observation,and semi-structured interviews to research and design the assessment standard of teachers'teaching performance in higher education. In this paper, many useful literatures will be selected and many excellent teaching performance will be observed, and a lot of teaching experts, school managements, and teachers will be interviewed.In this way, the research will design a more scientific and rational assessment standard. And most important, the assessment standard has operability. This standard will provide a correct direction for teachers in universities and colleges, and will provide a useful tool for school management in universities and colleges.This research is just a grope and an attempt.It's expected to be of some help for the establishment of the standard. And it's expected that more academies and experts could participate in the research so that the assessment standard for teachers in higher education fitting the situation of our country could be established.
