As human society progresses and people's awareness of the importance of education constantly deepened, the desire for quality educational resources is also becoming stronger. The high-quality educational resources will include the high-level teachers. The backbone teachers are not only the force at the core in primary and secondary schools, but also an important force in education reform. By studying the history of professional growth of individual teachers, it analyzes the key events that affect their professional growth and look into the internal and external factors that affect their professional growth, to discover the paths of their professional growth, thus to sum those factor and conditions up to guide other teachers'professional growth.In this thesis, narrative research method, which belongs to qualitative research is used. The research object is an elementary school teacher who is a backbone teacher of Dalian City in Liaoning province. It penetrates into this teacher's educational and teaching situations, and collect narrative content by means of interviews, analyzing the works, visiting the classrooms and by observation. Then return the narration of the object teacher to the original situation, and by analyzing the narration, it develops an objective comprehension of the object teacher's professional growth which can serve as material for researchers'professional growth which can serve as material for researches'discussion.This paper is divided into four parts.Partâ… :Introduction.
