Preschool education is an important part of education as a whole,for it is the first education of a person's life and also the education that lies the foundation of a person's lifetime development.Nevertheless,the development of today's preschool education remains the weak link of all sorts of education;one of the important problems is the teacher resource.In today's schools that train preschool teachers,those preschool normal schools which have upgraded into preschool junior normal college undertake important responsibilities.But the common problem existed in the aspect of teacher resource is the lack of professional teachers.Preschool education courses are normally being taught by those who are not professional preschool education teachers in these schools.For the development of preschool teachers themselves and the preschool education of these schools,those who are not majoring the preschool education must devote even more efforts in improving their abilities in preschool education as a profession.This paper adopted the narrative study as the method and chose Teacher S of a preschool teachers school in Ningxia as the study object.The real situation of a non-professional teacher in terms of his professional development was expressed through the interview and observation of Teacher S,as well as his story as a teacher who hasn't majored the preschool education yet teaches preschool education courses in the context of the upgrade of preschool teachers schools.Based on the above research,this paper describes the personal aspects and environmental factors that influence non-preschool teachers' professional development : make an analysis of the the influence of non-preschool teachers' professional development based on personal life history,personal study,reflection,educational faith and responsibility on personal factors;make an analysis of the influence of non-preschool teachers' professional development based on social environment,school upgraded trend,the lead of the school master and the relationship among colleagues.And on this basis,we propose some thoughts of non-preschool teacher professional development: First,strengthen the development of their ownareas,including the promotion of personal study and reflective ability,specifically strengthen the professional theory and professional knowledge,strengthen the awareness of curriculum in the learning process,continue to enhance their own professional abilities in reflection and participate in education and research activities actively.Second,optimize the school-based culture,create a harmonious school culture specifically,promote teachers' development through school-based teacher training and establish the teachers' evaluation system.
