The classroom evaluation is an important constituent of English curriculum. The science evaluation system is an important safeguard to realize the curriculum goals. According to the goal and the request of the curriculum criterion, English classroom evaluation of elementary schools should imply the effective monitoring to the whole teaching process and the result. Through the evaluation,the students can unceasingly experience progresses and success in studying process of English curriculum,and know them, and establish self-confidence, and at last can promote to have a full scale development of the synthesis ability of the language utilization. The teachers are able to gain the feedback of English teaching information,and make a reflection and a suitable adjustment to their own teaching behavior, so the teachers can unceasingly raise the teaching level. The schools can promptly know the execution situation of curriculum criterion , and improve the teaching management , and promote the unceasing development and the consummation of English curriculum. The English task based teaching is the new object of English classroom teaching evaluation of elementary schools.On the basis of reviewing the English classroom teaching evaluation of village elementary school, to the drawback of the evaluation, from the historical and realistic aspect, the thesis probes into it under the evaluation of postmodernist curriculum how to implement the tactics of classroom teaching evaluation for promoting the student's full development.As a new western cultural trend of thought which has been flourished in 1920s, postmodernism deeply challenges and subverts the rationality of modernism and modernity. Postmodernism generally influences the human science and also nature science. Postmodernist curriculum has such as characteristics. First, it emphasizes the role of subjects in the curriculum process and the human development. Second, it disagrees to the fundamentalism and reductionism and advocates the returning to life and the process of knowledge integration and subject reconstruction. Third, it claims the pluralism and refuted the value neutrality. Fourth, it objects indoctrinating and forcing, but advocates creation and practice. Although postmodernist curriculum has some problems, as challenge and transcendence to modernism, it must bring new views and useful enlightenment to the reform of English classroom teaching evaluation in village elementary schools.Finally considering curriculum evaluation, postmodernist curriculum thinks it not single but pluralist, not emphasizing result but the evaluation to the result, not just a kind of outer authority but the inter sought of curriculum subjects.
