Experimental Research On Volleyball Class Applying Teaching Method Of Competition To Improve Teaching Quality In Jiujiang University

To judge a teaching is successful or not, the ultimate criteria are whether it gets a high teaching efficiency as well as a wonderful teaching effect. In the university, traditonal volleyball class has many shortcomings, such as: obsolete teaching techniques, excessive teaching content and repetitive,boring practice. In order to arouse sthudents` interest, animate class atmosphere, elevate students `physical fitness and improving their volleyball ability, competition teaching approach was applied in the vollball class.In this thesis, the researcher will investigate and research how to improve volleyball teaching quality with the help of competition teaching . A variety of approaches were used in this thesis, for instance: literary review , questionnaire, mathematical statistics, expert interview and experiment. The conclusions are as follows:First, A "competition teaching approach" of teaching effectiveness is indeed superior to conventional "traditional teaching methods." The fomer can more better arouse students'interests in learning, enhance the enthusiasm of learning, mobilize the emotion of learning and strengthen the motivation, which can help students master the motor skills quickly and effectively and improve their physical fitness .Second,"Competition teaching approach" has great significance in many aspects. For example, it can regulate classroom atmosphere, mobilize the enthusiasm of the students training, enhance the friendship between the students and classes, train the students'good qualities such as Collectivism spirit and improve their awareness of life-long physical training .Third, In modern society, the changes in the traditional way of life require mutual cooperation, mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence between people. While the rapid development of society and the increasingly fierce competition among people force college students have to facing the competition, and then coordination and competition are the important component of modern college students' psychological. Thus, the entire teaching is also a process of training team spirit and developing the collaboration quality, which can be fully reflected in "competition teaching approach".
