Study On Factors Of The Lack Of College Student's Legal Faith And The Ways To Cultivate It

Fifteenth Congress of the Chinese Communist Party established the basic strategy of "ruling country by law and building a socialist country ruled by law" and enshrined it in Constitution in the last century. Since then, the development of the cause of socialist ruling of law has become a new milestone. Ruling of law includes not only the construction of the legal system, but also the building of the law thought and the law spirit of human, the cultivation of public faith in the law belongs to spirit building of the ruling of law, which is the key and the soul to the ruling of law. Contemporary university students are outstanding members of the community groups and vital force in the cause of the ruling of socialist law; they will play an important role in the ruling of socialist law in the future. Contemporary university students should constantly improve their own law quality, raise the banner of faith in the law at first in order to influence and lead the all social members to understand,abide and believe the law, with a higher legal quality and full legal emotion,they can support and promote social cause of building socialist law. However, by the investigation of the condition of contemporary university students'faith in the law, they are lack of legal knowledge, law apathy and not firm to guardian of the law, the level of their awareness of the law and legal beliefs are still fairly far behind. Knowing about the legal status of contemporary university students, analysing causes and finding an effective way of training students'faith in the law are of great significance to the socialist legal construction and the development of their own quality.The paper mainly explores the factors which leads to the lack of college students' legal belief and the efficient ways to it.Four parts are included in the research. The first part of the article is to sort out the basic theory of law belief.The second part of the article describes the importance of cultivating faith in the law for contemporary college students. The third part of the article, by investigation of the true state of faith in the law for contemporary college students, I obtains a real and effective data for my research.On the basis of the analysis, I figure out the main reasons of China's faith in the law from these aspects,such as the history, society,college education, parents' education and students themselves.The fourth part of the article explores effective ways to cultivate faith in the law for contemporary college students. These effective ways contain perfection of socialist legal system, the reformation on college legal education, the building of legitimate-run system in colleges, projection of legal civilization in colleges, and enhancement of students' rights consciousness.At last,students can enrich legal knowledge, enhance the legal emotion and strengthen the law will.The most important is that the legal belief of college students can be established.
