Status Quo And Countermeasures In Moral Education Of Non-governmental Universities In China

After reform and opening up, China's private higher education has been gradually rebuilt, especially after the "Private Education Promotion Law" was promulgated, China's private colleges have entered the stage of standardized and qualified development. However, the most critical issue to build a qualified private colleges and universities is to improve the quality of personnel moral training and to strengthen moral education efforts. Due to the lack of investment, mechanisms, the factors of students themselves and social factors, the current situation of the moral education work in our non-governmental universities is not very ideal, which requires government and private universities themselves to take effective measures to protect the effectiveness of moral education in private universities.The research process of this thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction, which explains the study background, purpose and significance of private universities in moral education and analysis the researches of moral education done by the major domestic and foreign private universities, and have defined the related concepts of private universities. The second part is the analysis of the moral education in our universities including non-governmental colleges and universities in past and present, mainly from the early days of the founding of PRC, ten years period of socialist construction, the "Cultural Revolution" period, and the new social development period since reform and opening in China. The third part is the analysis of the problems of the moral education existing in private universities, the article pointed out that due to the reasons of the students themselves and the schools as well as social holistic attitude and behavior, the Moral Education in our non-governmental higher educational institutions still has many problems, chiefly:the private school running system can not guarantee the primacy of the moral education, ideological and moral situation of students are quite concerned by people, Teachers in private colleges are not very stable, team-building of student management in private colleges is not in place. The fourth part is based on the development trends and principles of moral. education and the school running experience of Shandong Yingcai University to put forward the countermeasures of Moral Education from three aspects, insisting that the dominance of moral education awareness, building an effective system of moral education and innovative models to improve the effects of moral education.
