English summary: With economic development, human resources become the most important strategic resource in the country's economic and social development. The quality of education decides the quality of talents. The teacher is the key of the improvement the quality of talents training. Therefore, the teachers'performance appraisals occupy an important position in the school human resources management.As ordinary high school teachers'performance appraisals develop, we collect some experiences. But traditional performance appraisals are rewards and penalties of evaluation, lacking concern with teachers'views and opinions. Meanwhile, there are some problems, such as backwardness of Management concept, vague appraisal target, incomprehensive appraisal target, unscientific mode, unperfected evaluation program, and so on. So performance appraisals are difficult to achieve its purpose on promoting the development of teachers and schools. To solve the problems and make the teacher's development needs, we have to follow quality education law and conform to the concept of new course reform. Meanwhile, we should deal with the relationship between performance appraisals and development-oriented evaluation. There are scientific and reasonable evaluation systems, promoting teachers'continuous development. So teachers improve and promote themselves value in the process of teaching.Against problems about current high school teachers in performance appraisals, the paper proposes suggestions on improving our performance appraisals. The paper is divided into four parts. The preface part illuminates the background, theoretical and practical significance, and reviews research situations and methods. The first part introduces the concepts and theoretical basis of high school teachers'performance evaluation. The second part analyzes current and problems of high school teacher performance appraisals. The third part proposes performance evaluation strategies of ordinary high school teacher for improving performance evaluation.
