Teachers serve as the backbone in promoting the development of education,whose sense of happiness in the profession directly influences their educational objects.If teachers lack the sense of professional happiness,their physical and mental health will inevitably be affected,and so will the students' healthy growth.Therefore,it is very necessary to care about teachers' happiness,especially professional happiness.Currently,the researches on teachers' sense of professional happiness mainly focus on teachers in primary school,kindergarten,and university,especially schools in developed regions.However,there are less researches on high school teachers' s sense of professional happiness,especially in high school in remoter regions.Looking through the existing researches on teachers' sense of professional happiness in high school,we find even less on geography.Based on the above reason,this research mainly chooses geography teachers from ten high schools in Yibin City and Yibin County in the Southwest Rigion of Sichuan Province,which is also the author's work place.This study consists of five parts.Part one is introduction.First,the research background,research purpose and significance will be given to clarify the reason why the author chooses this topic.Then,the author will give an explanation of some relevant definitions according to the interpretation of documents at home and abroad,and sort out factors widely acknowledged by most scholars at present,which affect teachers' sense of happiness.The second part is the main study on geography teachers' sense of professional happiness in high school in Yibin City.The author will firstly give a basic description of the research objects,research idea and research findings.Secondly,the research data will be classified,sorted,and summarized.The result shows that in general high school geography teachers in Yibin City score less in the test of sense of professional happiness and there is a big difference in the sense of professional happiness.More than half of the teachers have comparatively low sense of professional happiness.Part three gives the individual difference of high school geography teachers in Yibin City according to the data classification comparison.That is,whether the differences in sense of professional happiness exist in such aspects as gender,age,teaching age,job title,teaching grade,school level and district,whether the teacher serves as a head teacher or leader.In part four,factors that affect high school geography teachers' sense of professional happiness in Yibin City are sorted and put in order according to their importance.Meanwhile,some targeted thinking and advice will be put forward.Part five is conclusion.It will give a conclusion and point out the inadequacy and limitation of this research.
