Students'learning difficulty is one of the universal problems in school education worldwide. The factors contributed to this problem are rather complicated, including external ones, such as social factors, family factors and school factors, as well as learner's individual mental factors. Learning psychology is a relatively stable and lasting mental state during the process of learning and the psychological basis for effective and efficient learning. Literatures and interviews revealed that learners' psychological obstacles are influenced by their adjustment capability, meta-cognitive capability and cognitive ability.The present study selected students having learning difficulties in Biology as participants, all participants were from the Fifth High School of Peheng County, Zhangzhou city of Fujian Province. This study probed into the learning difficulties of senior high school students in Biology. Based on the theories of modern education and learning psychology, methodologies such as questionaire,interview,curriculum observation, and case study were used to investigate and analyze the participants'major psychological learning problems. A compiled questionnaire was used to investigate the sample students. The analysis of questionnaire results was carried out with the software of SPSS 13.0. Results showed that study plan, learning technology, school environment, test-oriented strategies, reading and notes, learning attitude were of great influence to learning difficulty in Biology; Lectures, perseverance, physical and mental health were less significant to students with learning difficulty in Biology; the universal students'metacognitive level is low, and their metacognitive level indicated a normal distribution, this meant that the metacognitive level of the students with learning difficulty in Biology was lower, with rare exceptions; students with learning difficulties in Biology showed lower level of learning motivation, and most of them were confused about learning motivation and learning objectives.For research and observed classroom behavior problems, learning and teaching strategies are presented from the perspective of learning and teaching, in addition, case studies of students with learning difficulties in Biology, the purpose of which was to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of education strategy.The author had a deep impression during the process of research that optimizing students'with learning difficulties in Biology is a long-term and tough task. In this part, the author combined his personal experience with research, pointed out the deficiency of this study, and hoped to inspire some teachers. The author will continue to pay attention to this research problem and engage in related research in the future.
