With the development and popularization of computer, network and multimedia technology, more and more learners got attention to the web-based learning. In networked learning environment which a key factor affecting the teaching quality of the network is interaction. In this paper, based on Moodle learning platform, a teaching interactive mode combined with constructivist learning theory and interaction theory was constructed for problems existed in the teaching interaction, offering reference for the design of network course interactive activities.Based on the constructivist learning theory and teaching interaction theory, through the literature review, comparative summary of surveys and other research methods, a kinds of typical open source web-based instruction platforms popular nowadays were described and compared from the aspects of framework environment, language support and feature support. Combined with the characteristics, operating environments and functional structures of Moodle instruction platform, the advantages of Moodle platform widely used in the field of education were summarized. Through designing of the questionnaire to teachers and students, problems in the man-machine and interpersonal interactive of teachers and students in the current Moodle instruction platform were summarized. On the basis of theory mentioned above and the analysis of investigation, the following kinds of elements:teaching contents, resources, strategies, interactive activities, learning support and assessment, which were involved in the interaction design of network course, were discussed in detail from the phases of preparation, implementation and evaluation in interaction activities, based on which, the instruction interactive mode on Moodle platform was proposed.Due to the effectiveness of interactive web-based instruction affects its quality in a large extent, based on the Moodle platform, the proposed teaching interactive mode not only emphasizes the importance of interaction in web-based instruction, but also offers reference for organizing and designing interactive activities in the web-based course.
