National strength is closely bound up with the advanced education, and teachers are the implementers of the educational reform. No doubt that the quality of teachers becomes the key factors of the national education. Nowadays, implementing the further education of teachers to improve their quality has become the consensus of the world education reform. The success of teachers'further education relies on the quality of the teacher trainers. And the uneven level of the faculty of teacher trainers has become the bottleneck of the in-service teachers'training. To ensure the teacher trainers team standardization, and move forward to the direction of professionalization of the sustainable development, the establishment of teacher trainers'qualification certification system, and the research of teacher trainers qualifications'standards are all imperative.The study, in terms of the theoretical basis of the adult education ,adult learning and pedagogy basic theory,taking the questionnaire survey of hundreds of in-service teacher trainees as the empirical basis, using literature, comparative study, analysis and so on the various ways, explores the subject of the teacher trainers qualification standards. This thesis mainly has four major parts:Preface: mainly include the selecting source, topic significance, concept definition, research situation, thoughts and methods, research emphases, difficulties and innovations.The first part: the necessity and feasibility of constructing teacher trainers'qualification standards. The part thoroughly discusses the necessity of studying teacher trainers'qualification standards and the feasibility of constructing teacher trainers'qualification standards. And it is from three major aspects, such as the background of new era. the academic background and practical basis .The second part: reading and discrimination of the domestic and international adult education teachers'qualification standards. This part analyzes Instructor Competencies and Performance Indicators by U.S. Department of Education, the New Teachers'Standard of the Vocational Qualification Certificate Education in UK and National Professional Standards of Enterprise Trainers, and also points out their enlightenment to China.The third part: the basic concepts and principles of constructing teacher trainers'qualification standards .This part, which is based on the theory of constructing the standard system, the educational theory in terms of humanism, the theories of adult learning and the theory of training, by using the experience for reference, attempts to put forward the development concepts of constructing teacher trainers'qualification standards and the principles which should be followed.The fourth part: primary study on the establishment of national teacher trainers'qualification standards. This part regresses native to think, and analyzes teacher trainers' role positioning and the professional attainment which they should possess as the core of teacher trainers'qualification standards, and attempts to put forward the ideas of theoretical framework and index system of constructing teacher trainers'qualification standards.
