Alienation from school (AFS) is referred to as some negative feelings including loneness, meaninglessness, powerlessness, normlessness, which are sometimes experienced by students, because of their own alienation relationship to what their teachers and classmates behave during schooling activities. Even though there have been a variety of the studies of AFS whose findings are both productive and fruitful, we, Chinese scholars, do little with it. With the development of economy and society, although the material culture of the senior high students have improved a lot and so have their spiritual culture, the obsolete education system still works in the school and the exam-oriented education is prevailing. This research aims to unfold the status of the senior high students` AFS and its relation with the usage of internet. It adopted the questionnaire to survey 685 senior high students from the city of Kaifeng, Anyang and Zhoukou and found that:1. The senior high students` AFS degree is at the lower-middle in total and their loneness is the lowest, which is remarkably lower than their meaninglessness, normlessness and powerlessness.2. The senior high students` AFS has remarkable differences on demographical variable quantity and their specific performance is: the boy students, Grade Two and Three students, the science students, the students whose academic record are poor, the boarding students, students from single parent family, the students whose family's monthly income are higher experience higher AFS.3. The normlessness of the students who own personal computers is remarkably higher than the ones who do not; the AFS of the students who use mobile phone to surf on the internet are dramatically higher than the ones who do not; the more frequent, the longer the students who surf on the internet, the higher the AFS of them are.4. There are notable differences between the high and low score groups of the AFS on using the internet.5. The senior high students` AFS can positively predict Adolescent Pathological internet use (APIUS). Different AFS subscales have different influence on the using of internet preference, whose specific performance is that the higher the normlessness of the senior high students, the more they tend to use the information exchange and entertainment function of internet; the higher the meaninglessness and loneness of the senior high students are, the less they use the information acquisition function of internet.
