Pathological Internet use is a problem in the process of network development.The psychological development of adolescents is in a contradictory stage,and the self-control ability is poor,which is prone to pathological Internet use.In previous studies,research on adolescents focused on ordinary high schools,and there were fewer studies on secondary vocational students.Hence,the study focuses on the relationship between pathological Internet use and personal family or environment and researches the relationship between the attachment to parents and children,alienation and pathological Internet use in secondary vocational schools.In the study,the method of quantitative research was employed,1000 secondary vocational school students were selected to write the?Adolescent Pathological Internet Use Scale,APIUS?,?Adolescent Students' Alienation Scale,ASAS? and? Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment?.The research's conclusions were as follows:1.As to the pathological internet use,the detection rate of secondary vocational school students was 6.4%,which proved the low sense of alienation,and middle level of parent-child attachment.The three variables had a significant impact on one or more dimensions like gender,grade,type of registered permanent residence,and only child.2.There was a significant negative correlation between parental trust,parental communication and sense of meaninglessness,self-alienation,oppression,uncontrollable,family alienation,social isolation,natural alienation,and alienation from living environment.There was a significant positive correlation between parental alienation and sense of alienation.3.There was a significant positive correlation between father's trust and the total scores of salience,tolerance,compulsive internet use(withdrawal reaction),social comfort,negative consequences,and pathological Internet total use.There was a significant positive correlation between mother's trust and the total scores of salience,tolerance,compulsive internet use(withdrawal reaction),mood alteration,social comfort,negative consequences,and pathological Internet use.There was asignificant negative correlation between father's communication and the total scores of salience,tolerance,compulsive internet use(withdrawal reaction),social comfort,negative consequences,and pathological Internet use,while there was a significant negative correlation between mothers' communication and the total scores of tolerance,compulsive internet use(withdrawal reaction),social comfort,negative consequences,and pathological Internet use.There was a significant positive correlation between parental alienation and the total scores of salience,tolerance,compulsive internet use(withdrawal reaction),mood change,social comfort,negative consequences and pathological Internet use.4.There was a significant positive correlation between every dimension of secondary vocational school students' sense of alienation and every dimension of pathological Internet use.5.Sense of alienation was the mediator between parent-child attachment and pathological Internet use.
