Research On The Civic Education Blending Into Our College Ideological And Political Education

College students as citizens is a special group.It's clear that the training of citizenship quality for college students is a basic project in harmonious society construction.So, it's meaningful to do the research in the "civic education blending into our college ideological and political education" both theoretically and practically . Based on related concepts according to the logical route from the theory to the reality , from the reason to the countermeasure , this paper will describe the necessity and feasibility of civic education blending into ideological and political education , master the status quo of modern civic education , explore the reasons for the lack of civic education in the ideological and political education in colleges , and provide effective and practical policies for ideological and political education in colleges and the development of college students' citizenship quality .The article is divided into four parts.First part : Introduce the concepts of citizen , civic education , ideological and political education in colleges and the relationship with these concepts."Citizen" is a multi-dimensional concept, but this paper mainly refers to its political and legal implications." civic education " meaning is also complicated and controversial, this paper mainly take its narrow sense, especially for college students' civic education in the school.Ideological and political education connotation includes two aspects of inheritance and creativity.The clarification and definition of the concepts lays a theoretical foundation for the full-text.Second part: Explain the necessity and feasibility of civic education blending into ideological and political education in the perspective of development. Its necessity lies in: First, the civic education is the needs of the reform and innovation of ideological and political education's needs; Second, civic education is the needs of enriching the ideological and political education existing contents; Third, civic education is the needs of improving the comprehensive qualities of college students. Its feasibility displays in: a good social environment; the rich ideological and political education experience.Third part: Analyze the present situation of civic education in ideological and political education in colleges , and its' inadequacies . They mainly display in: first, the lack of qualified and mature students citizens group; second, the lack of ideal school education environment; third, the shortcomings of civic education in ideological and political educational curricula. This part also analyzes the reasons for lack of civic education. Reasons include: historical factors of political system, practical factors of legal system and education system, and operational factors of education.Through the analysis of the previous three-part paper, the fourth part presented the rational choices of civic education blending into our college ideological and political education. These include: first, we should establish the new citizen education concept; Second, we should increase or strengthen contents of civic education in ideological and political educational; Third, we should permeate civic life into ideological and political educational in practice; Fourth, we should introduce advanced methods of civic education to ideological and political educational in practice; Fifth, so as to promote civic education blending into our college students' ideological and political education ,we should build the quaternary education environment of family, school, society and mass media.
