Early as 60 years, there have been teacher education should be based Teacher-based or in academic debate. Teachers of the main advocates believe that good teachers must have a solid theoretical foundation of education and skilled teaching skills. You are not a qualified teacher if you Do not know how teaching and professional knowledge. Academic-oriented advocates believe that good teachers should first have a solid expertise. If teachers do not understand the teaching not really qualified teachers, then teachers are not really understand the professional teachers. Currently, in our Teachers College, there are those disputes, our educational curriculum how to highlight the characteristics of teacher education, we should continue to explore. Educational curriculum is the curriculum reflects the characteristics of Teacher. To study the educational curriculumis is the critical stage for the teacher education pre-theoretical knowledge.In the context of teacher professional development, the U.S. educational Comprehensive College of Education curriculum, emphasis on training future teachers of various educational and teaching skills, emphasizing the teaching of students with relevant practice and to nurture students with future employment of professional and student contact together, the courses are largely reflected the professional training of teachers.In this paper, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, University of Houston (the UH) College of Education in three comprehensive as the research object, from the course objectives, course structure and course content of these aspects of their educational curriculum were analyzed and compared, and analyzed the feasibility of combining social background, combined with China's Teachers Education Curriculum situation, discusses how to learn from the experience of the United States to improve our educational curriculum, to train more qualified teachers. Thesis is divided into five parts:The first part of the university education for the American Curriculum change. Mainly described in U.S. teacher education course of 100 years of development, educational curriculum at different stages of the changing trends;The second part is the U.S. university education courses in the status quo. Mainly with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, University of Houston (the UH) three university colleges of education, describes the current U.S. goal of educational curriculum, course structure and course content;The third part is the U.S. university educational curriculum features. Through the introduction of the second part, summed up the American university educational curriculum Features:guidance curriculum standards, curriculum targeted; course outstanding professional features, contents broad; focus on teaching practice, theoretical courses and practical courses combined;The fourth part of university education courses in the United States to set comprehensive feasibility analysis. With social background of the major universities of the United States the effectiveness of educational curriculum;The fifth part is inspiration and reference. American university education by introducing the structure and content of courses, combined with the status of our educational curriculum for the Improvement of Education in Colleges and Students of the courses for reference.
