Now days with the globalization of knowledge economy and acceleration of social development, the social competition is getting intense, the occupational stress is weighing more and more heavily on people's work.In 1994, the United Nations International Labor Organization has noted that "the world is becoming stressful world." Stresses are widely attacked all sectors of society, more and more people experience the tension and stress caused by work. The increased occupational stress has caused widespread scholars'concern. The stress of teachers stress has caused education and psychology experts'concern.As an important group of teachers, Middle School PE teachers also face the threat of stress. And the stress is different from the non-Physical Education Teacher P. E. teachers engaged in high intensity mixing type of mental and physical work; it is the double teaching of dynamic and static.This study was undertaken to understand status quo, the main source and primary effect of Middle School teachers'occupational stress and Burnout in Henan province through analysising and investigating Middle School teachers'occupational stress and burnout in Henan province. To provide some references for education authorities of making relevant policies and institutions for reducing occupational stress and burnout of Middle School TeachersA "Teacher Stress Scale" and "Ma General Burnout Inventory" (MBI-GS) are used as measure tool to investigate 10 cities in Henan province's 650 secondary school teachers to, the results showed that:(1) Middle school PE teachers'occupational stress is small; the biggest pressure is the system pressure, the minimum pressure for job security. (2) There is no gender difference in terms of titles and teaching experience; There is a marked age difference between age under 25 and age 26-30, age under 25 own the maximum occupational stress, the age 26-30 own the relative small. Middle school PE teachers and other professional teacher's stress were not significantly different.(3) The level of burnout from high to low is a professional performance, emotional exhaustion, of personality.(4)There was no gender in middle school PE teacher burnout of job, title, seniority differences, but age differences exist.(5)There was significant difference of Middle school PE teacher burnout among teachers in the emotional exhaustion there was, depersonalization.(6) Middle School Physical Education Teacher stress in the 6 factors and the total job security, relationships, work load and job stress on burnout score into the regression equation of the total score, indicating that middle school PE teachers in their professional pressure burnout prediction with a very significant effect.
