| The wide spread of internet broaden the form of informal learning. Nowadays, the requirement of knowledge especially tacit knowledge is urgent. Online community is an informal study groups which formed spontaneously using a series network tools. They are more and more important in the processes of accessing tacit knowledge.First, this thesis analyzed the theories of informal learning, online communities, tacit knowledge and knowledge sharing from several aspects, reviewed and summarized the related theory and practice research in and abroad. Then the paper describe the important role of tacit knowledge sharing in the informal learning occurring in the online community and explicit several ways of share tacit knowledge, several forms of transfer knowledge in online community. Furthermore the writer proposed the model related to the factors which affect tacit knowledge sharing of informal learning occurring in online community.My paper made a case study about a QQ group which is discussing some PHP technology knowledge and it is an online synchronous communication community. The writer designed an questionnaire and did interviews to validate the model. Then it combined two methods of content analysis approach, which one is clues classification based on grounded theory, the other is online knowledge-based construction classification proposed by Gunawardena to sort the instant messaging communication content from the QQ group, at the same time, integrated with interviews to discuss the characteristics and forms of tacit knowledge sharing occurring in online community.The research suggest that in the online synchronous communication community, the sharing of the tacit knowledge exists in the process of explicit knowledge sharing, and the most effective knowledge sharing is the problem solving. The depth of communication between members in the community is an important sign to measure the tacit knowledge sharing, and alse has certain reference value for future research.
