Along with globalized advancement, China greets the world by the open posture. The social appearance has been through repeatedly the baptism during the several dozens years. The Chinese society is experiencing a transformation. When we hope the Chinese nation turn around magnificently, actually first we feel the transformation pain. The thought domain has borne the brunt. Values education for college students is a work which the country and the school did not idle once. But the work which is took seriously, actually fell into the awkward aspect in China modernization process. When the core values education and the multicultural meet, the results can not be optimistic. On the one hand, slogans of the core values are pasted the full campus, to interpolate the books; On the other hand, actually the university students turn a deaf ear to the core values, but like to talk about kinds of subcultures. Obviously, our values education had the problem. Exploring a correct education path is duty of each moral education workers.In recent years, "cultural" has gradually become the "center of discourse" of academic research. This article analysis the socialist core value education from the perspective of cultural. It is not to blindly follow the wind of academic. This article gets a conclusion after studying the relationship between culture and values, the status of education. Restoring the core values of culture, renewing cultural vitality of the mainstream culture is an important path to explore the core values of education.The first part of this article introduced the basic theory of culture, including the notion of culture, cultural characteristics, culture mode of transmission, etc. Then the part analyzed the multi-cultural, pointing out the relationship between multiculturalism and coexistence. This is the guiding ideology to treat a variety of Asian culture. Then the part described exist in the contemporary multicultural college scene, which is the challenged mainstream culture, elite culture differentiation and transition, sudden emergence of mass culture, Internet culture in the ascendant, eternal youth culture. It analyzed the culture features of college students. In-depth analysis of cultural provides the theoretical basis for the operation of cultural values.The second part of this article focused on the multi-cultural values of college students. First, it analyzed the values of related concepts, revealing the relationship between culture and values, and demonstrating the core values of socialism and cultural property. Then this article pointed out the positive and negative effects of cultural diversity on college students. It enriches the values vision of students, exercises the value of students thinking, and promotes the rational students. But also the multi-cultural attacks college students. Impacting on the current situation faced by higher values, we know the great significance of the education of socialist core values to students.The third part of this article analyzes the reasons that the students do not agree with mainstream values. China's social situation is the root causes. Values Education in the defect is an important reason for poor result of the core values of education. College student is a contradiction group, that also leads them to reject the mainstream values.The fourth part, discusses the new ways to carry the socialist core values education by the social background of prevalence of multi-cultural. First, the part points the principle of the value of education. That is the dominant principle, forces resonating principle, conform to exceed principle. Second, by the cultural integration perspective, we should lead students to understand socialism core values. Finally, by cultural transmission perspective to carry education practice, adjusting the relationship between subject and object, enhancing the interaction teachers and students. Referencing transmission mode of sub-culture, achieve the education concrete, vivid and technology. We should build cultural rational authority, to ensure the reliability of values education. We should excavate cultural transmission media, and develop variety of carriers to carry out the education of the socialism core values.
